About Us
Angus Carers Centre was established in 1996 and is a local charity which is part of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers network.
As at March 2006 there are 1012 carers registered with Angus Carers Centre, of which 102 are young carers (between the ages of 8-18 years).

Vision Statement
Our vision is all carers in Angus will be given the opportunity to access relevant information and support to enable them to feel valued and empowered in their caring role
Mission Statement
Our mission at Angus Carers is to improve the quality of life for all carers within Angus.
Our Aims
In the undertaking of this Mission Statement the following aims have been identified
1. To enable carers to access the resources and services to which they are entitled.
2. To support carers in taking active control over their situation.
3. To raise carers' profile and awareness of issues surrounding carers among those who work in a professional capacity with carers, those who are involved in the planning of resources and the public in general.
Our Objectives
1. To provide an information and advice service for carers in Angus.
2. To offer support to carers at an emotional, practical and social level.
3. To join with carers in becoming actively involved in consultative and planning processes.
