Trainers Rhian Ferguson, Health Promotion Officer from NHS Tayside and Louise Kellett, Recovery Practitioner from Penumbra are to be running Mental Health Improvement and Suicide Awareness training in September with support from Susan Duncan, Development Officer as well as Katie and Jim from Angus Carers Centre.

Mental Health Improvement and Suicide Awareness
Mental Health Improvement (Workshop 1) – Wednesday 15th September from 11am-12.30pm
This workshop looks at mental health and wellbeing and explores ways to promote positive wellbeing.
Suicide Awareness (Workshop 2) – Wednesday 22nd September from 11am-12.30pm
This workshop looks at suicide awareness and provides participants with the knowledge and skills to have compassionate conversations with people who are experiencing mental distress or may be feeling suicidal.
- You must be available to attend both sessions.
- Deadline to book is Friday 10th September.
- Workshops will be delivered via MS Teams.
- A Carer Development Worker will be in attendance throughout all sessions.
- This training is open to all registered adult carers and volunteers.
This course will be running again in October and dates will be advertised next month.
