Hospitalfield, in Arbroath, are delighted to announce a new flexible artist residency programme. This is the first time we have opened up an opportunity like this and we look forward to working with artists to tailor a programme that best supports their development of practice.
We are seeking initial expressions of interest from artists living in Scotland to participate in a ‘tailored’ residency programme happening at Hospitalfield in 2022. Artists with caring responsibilities are invited to apply for a flexible artist residency. This programme is a demonstration project funded by Creative Scotland’s Radical Care Action Research.
There are two places available and selected artists will receive a Bursary, Travel Expenses and Contribution To Respite Care Costs. See link below for details.

The residency pilot will be aided through collaborative peer-learning and guidance from Anna McLauchlan who has a background in the arts and is currently a full-time support to her mum and consultation with Angus Carers Centre.
