We are thrilled to announce that AngusALIVE will provide a range of exciting activities for unpaid carers throughout October. From theatre, countryside, sport adventures, there will be plenty to choose from. Each week will see different activities in different parts of Angus. From Forfar, Monikie to Arbroath, there will be something for everyone.
All of the events listed are free for Angus Carers. There are however limited spaces for each event so it is advised to book in advance. To do so, please contact Ian on either 01382 768120 or ian.brough@angusalive.scot to book into the activities.

The second week of events being held by AngusALIVE are ready to be booked! Remember, these are all free events for all Angus Carers!
They are also holding a Paddling Trip on Monday 26th October which is set to be an incredible day out for Angus Carers. It will be held at Loch Faskally, located only 2.7 miles west from the old historical town of Pitlochry. The Loch is a man made reservoir fed by the rivers Tummel and Garry which has some of the best sheltered water paddling in Scotland.
The trip is available to a maximum of 10 participants.
The itinerary is labelled below:
09:00 – Meet at Monikie Country Park
09:00 – 09:10 – Sizing of kit (Buoyancy Aid, Wetsuit and boots) – This can also be pre-arranged to take this kit out or general sizes can be taken.
09:10 – 10:30 – Travel to Faskally
10:30 – 10:45 – Kit up (If not already done so at Monikie)
10:45 – 12:00 – learn how to paddle in bottom part of loch and up to River Tummel for lunch.
12:00 – 12:20 – Lunch
12:20 – 14:00 – Paddling activities and water play on river tummell. Then paddle back to bus.
14:00 – 15:20 – travel back to Monikie
15:30 – Depart (Session end)
