Centre Manager - Katy Webster

Katy has previous management experience within other charities and holds post-graduate qualification in administration, marketing and management. She has also been a full-time carer for many years.

Carer Support Worker - Tessa Mendez

Tessa worked as a qualified nurse for several years in general medicine; more recently she has worked for York Council co-ordinating the Mobile Warden Service then as Registered Home Care Manager. She moved to Angus in October 2006.




Carer Support/Development Worker - Anne Smith

Anne has a District Nursing background and has also been a carer. She recently completed a successful three-year project in partnership with Primary Care in Angus identifying over 1200 carers and is now working half time with the Marie Curie Delivering Choice Programme. More information about this project can be found on the Specific Services page. The other half of her time is spent on various work and development for Angus Carers.


Carer Development Worker (Transitions) - Lynne Kelly

Lynne supports carers at times when their caring role is at it's most demanding or difficult. This can be when a person first becomes a carer, when their caring role comes to an end, or at any point in-between when they feel in need of focused emotional or practical support.

Lynne has qualifications in Community Education, Counselling and Business Studies and has experience of working in Community Mental Health, Community Mediation and within a Healthy Living Centre setting.




Volunteer/Outreach Worker - June Dickson

June works with our very valuable volunteers. June's experience and training equips her to work with a wide range of people. She brings to the job her first-hand experience of being both a carer and a volunteer.



Information/Admin Worker - Linda Hadden

Linda provides administrative support to the whole service, undertakes the book-keeping and ensures that records and information is kept up to date. She has an HNC in Administration/Information Management. She also has experience as a carer.

Young Carer Worker - Karyn Brady

Karyn works with her colleague to provided the service to young carers. Karyn has as degree in Psychology. She was a young carer herself and still helps to care for a member of her family.

Young Carer Worker - Lorna Ross

Lorna with her colleague runs the service for young carers and also works to raise the awareness of young carers through school and in other settings. Lorna has a HNC in Social Care and a degree in Community Education.

Young Carers Worker (Siblings) - Sam Senkel

Sam works with young carers specifically those who care for their brother or sister. Her experience of working within social care in various settings brings useful insight to her work. Sam has a HNC in Health & Social Care as well as SVQ III.
