This year’s theme of recognising and supporting carers in the community has made us rethink how we celebrate the unsung heroes – unpaid carers.
Over the last couple of months, we have been speaking to our carers to find out what they would like us to deliver during the Carers Week.
What we’ve heard was clear – the activities need to be engaging, informative and helpful. That’s why we’ve reached out to local organisations and individuals to design something truly unique.
From hill walks across our scenic area, delicious cake making sessions, gentle fitness sessions, tea dance, workshops on understanding autism, climate change, pampering, and many more, we’ve got what you need.
