Respitality in Scotland in partnership with the hospitality, tourism and leisure industry in Scotland have the following breaks on offer to carers across Scotland. Ferry Row B&B in Fairlie (3 miles outside Largs) would like to offer a break for 2-night stay at their seafront property for a carer and companion. Breaks can be booked for any time of the year but will be subject to availability.
Getting there: The owner can arrange transport from Fairlie Station if needed.
T&Cs: There is no smoking inside the house and no dogs or other animals permitted. No food or drink in the bedroom other than what is provided on the tray or agreed by prior arrangement e.g for health or dietary reasons.
Accessibility: one step down from car parking area into garden. The house is not wheelchair friendly and both guest rooms have shower over bath.

Inverchroskie Cottages are donating a 3 – 7-night self-catering holiday for 2 to 5 people. Break is to be taken between 1 November 2023 – 30th April 2024. Dates are subject to availability.
They have two cottages on offer, depending on party size and accessibility needs.

Rubha Mor Cottage in Ullapool would like to offer accommodation
sleeping two for up to a week’s stay (shorter if required). Breaks are subject
to availability. Break cannot be taken between June and August 2023.
Rubha Mor are unable to accommodate anyone who smokes or vapes
at any time (including away from the flat) and they also cannot accommodate
pets.
Access info: Ramp access to front door. No adaptations in bathroom (bath with over bath shower) or kitchen but flat is spacious.

Peebles Hydro Hotel are offering 60 minutes of Archery, Air Rifles or Segways in the grounds of the hotel. Our instructors will show you what it takes to become a pro in no time at all.

Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery would like to offer an unpaid carer and a companion a Complimentary Cask Tasting Tours with lunch in their café. Dewars have advised this offer is unlimited and ongoing so please take advantage where you can!
COVID-19 AMENDMENTS: Dewars advise – We are taking 8 people on our tours at present, however group bookings are set at a maximum of 6 people. Social distancing is in place throughout the tour both for visitors and our guides. There have been a few changes made to the visitor centre in light of covid;

Access to the production area is temporarily unavailable due to Covid-19. We are instead showing a film in our warehouse to explain the production process with samples to give you a multisensorial production experience.
