Angus Carers Centre receives funding from National Lottery Community Fund

The Angus Communities Project

Angus Carers Centre are pleased to announce that we have been successful in securing funding from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland.  The Investing in Angus Communities project aims to help us better understand the local picture of what it’s like to be an unpaid carer in Angus.

To create new partnerships but most importantly, to support, empower and forever change the lives of unpaid carers and their relationships to local communities of interest, policy makers and neighbourhoods.

This project, delivered by Angus Carers Association, is a great example of community activity in action, showing just what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause or to help others. It’s all thanks to National Lottery players that we can help give charities and community groups throughout Scotland greater certainty during challenging times
