Young Carers Action Day, a campaign organised by the charity Carers Trust

Our very own Olivia King visited Scottish Parliament with the Carers trust Young Carer Ambassador team. She was part of a group presenting to MSP and raising awareness on YCAD with the theme Give Us A Break.
Olivia and other Young Carers from YC will be back at Scottish Parliament tomorrow to represent Angus and attend a mass gathering, First Ministers Questions and a debate in chambers on Young Carers Right to a Break!! Well done all
 
 
 
 
 
YCAD 2025 – Letham PS celebrated all their young carers in school with an organised dance session and dance-off with their peers.
Big thank you to the Young Carer’s Champion Mrs Williamson who organised all their activities for today and throughout this week. Activities were all based around this years theme ‘Give Me a Break’. All had a great time and had so much fun

 

 

 

YCAD 2025 was celebrated with a Lunch Club Party at lunchtime today. Big thank you to our Young Carer Champion Kerry Smith for organising this and supporting all our young carers in school.
